Welcome to the 914 Special Interest Group!!

So first let me start with an apology....its my fault that this group has 1) gone nowhere for a long time, and 2) not been updated. We had hoped to start with a completely fresh slate and a new site, but this thing called life got in the way and I have been very negligent moving things're going with the forum system that has been here for a few years!

I hope to do a better job keeping up with activities and interesting things for the 914 SIG. As it grows, there will be more info and more topics on here. For now, browse around and see what's what. A community is only as active as it's members, so please get involved.

Speaking of community - Go to the link at the top called "Community" and click on the "Member Garages" link. There you can create your own "Garage" and post pictures and information about your personal 914's.

There's also a Photo Album section (Photos & Files) where you can create albums to share with other members.

Keep checking back here as we add new functionality and find new ways to enhance your 914 Registry membership!! Remember, it's not just the's the crazy 914 people!!

Welcome 914 fans . . .

Well, if you're reading this, then you've caught us. Yup, we're stripping down the 914 SIG and preparing her for a frame up restoration.

New 914 Register Advocate . . .

The first step to rebuilding the place is to put a new advocate at the controls. Mr. Bob Saville has accepted that challenge and has been appointed to the position of PCA 914 Register Advocate. You'll find him here, posting under the name "naro914".

So here you have it folks. A blank slate that you and your fellow 914 owners can build as you see fit. Jump on in and start posting. Take ownership and put this website to work for yourself and other 914 enthusiasts.

Okteenerfest 2014: Can Am Reunion
May 14, 2014 - 10:22 PM - by 914LE
Ok, all you Can Am/Limited Edition 914 enthusiasts.... this is the gathering you have been waiting for.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of these special cars, Okteenerfest will double as a reunion for all Limited Edition 914s. I know there are a LOT of these 914s in the Southeast (and beyond) so dust 'em off and tune 'em up to make the journey to Townsend, TN this September 25-27. Let's make this the largest gathering of Limited Edition 914s in the world!

Don't have a 914 LE? No worries. ALL 914s are welcome to join in driving the awesome mountain roads of east Tennessee and western North Carolina. Since the government shutdown affected nearly 3/4s of our original route in 2013, we will be using that same route for this year. Dubbed "der Nebelbergring", the route circles the Smokies and includes not only the world-famous 318 curves of the Dragon, but also Foothills Parkway, a portion of Moonshiner 28, Little River Road, and a run through Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

In addition to the driving, Okteenerfest will feature plenty of good eating, an awards ceremony,... [Read More]
